1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage, fall under the same heading in this policy.
2. Which cookies we use
The BOMproof website places no tracking or advertising cookies. We only place analytics cookies with your consent (see below). Fonts are loaded from our own domain, so no data is sent to external font services.
3. Signing in
Only if you sign in do we store a session in your browser via Firebase Authentication (Google). This is strictly necessary to keep you signed in and therefore requires no consent. If you do not choose “Stay signed in” when signing in, the session is removed as soon as you close the browser.

If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, that provider places its own cookies in the sign-in window during signing in. The provider’s own policy applies to those.
4. Website statistics (only with consent)
On your first visit we ask whether we may measure how the site is used. Declining is just as easy as accepting, and without consent everything works normally. Only after “Accept” do we load Google Analytics 4 through Cloudflare Zaraz. Zaraz forwards the data to Google via our own server, so no Google script runs in your browser.
We only use the statistics to improve the site (which pages are visited, for how long, from what kind of device). We do not share them for advertising. Google may process the data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States; the arrangements that Cloudflare and Google have with each other apply to that, such as the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. 5. Managing cookies
You can change your choice at any time via Cookie settings at the bottom of every page; this opens the same notice with which you made your choice. Your choice is stored in a cookie and in your browser’s local storage; if you delete those, we ask again on your next visit. You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Keep in mind that functional parts, such as signing in, may then not work.
